# skills

> Install or print the envlink skill for coding agents.

## envctl skills install

```bash theme={null}
envctl skills install [--agents claude,codex] [--scope project|global] [--dir <skills folder>]
```

Writes the envlink skill's `SKILL.md` for each agent, and reports `installed`, `updated` or `unchanged` for each.

| Flag | Default | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--agents` | the agents this folder or your home already uses, or `claude` | Comma-separated: `claude`, `codex` |
| `--scope` | `project` | `project` writes to `.claude/skills/` and `.codex/skills/` here; `global` to the same folders in your home |
| `--dir` | | Write into this skills folder instead, for another agent |

## envctl skills show

```bash theme={null}
envctl skills show
```

Prints the skill, for pasting into an agent that doesn't read skills folders. See [The envlink skill](/agents/skill).
